Officially

As of October 19, I am officially a certified foster home.  I have the "certificate" to prove it.

I have to say, it appears having a baby is in the water...so many at the office are pregnant..which is awesome.  It is great when talking about kids, and i say that I am expecting, and people are shocked..LOL..The problem is that once everyone else gives birth they lose the weight, but not me...so i have to be careful...here is the question, am i technically "expecting"?  I guess I am, i just don't know when, what, or how old...

It has only been a week, but waiting already is difficult already.  Every time the phone rings and I miss it, i feel like i have to check it super fast because you never know.  I don't want to be a pain so i don't call the agency social worker.  The room is as done as it is going to be I think.

I am sure i will find plenty more to put in it.
